Why should we buy flooring from Behr's?

How quickly can someone come out to my home to do a Free Measure/Estimate?
Jerry's schedule is extremely flexible and can come out to your home the same day if desired.

What is the process for my Free Measure/Estimate?
If you call into the store to schedule your estimate, you will need to provide us with the following information listed:
  • Contact Information
  • Do you live in the home, moving, or is this a rental?
  • What area of the home needs new flooring?
  • Approximately what is the size of the area?
  • What type of flooring are you looking for?
  • What is your budget?
  • What style/color are you interested in?
  • Is this project time sensitive?
  • What is your availability for a measure?

In your store, what is or is not included in your prices listed on the products displayed?
Our prices are based off square feet.
  • Prices listed on all carpet include the carpet material, 1/2" 8 lb pad (thickest pad), and install.
  • Prices listed on all vinyl include the vinyl material and install.
  • Prices listed on all laminate, wood, luxury vinyl tile, and tile are the materials only price.

How long does it take to get the flooring installed?
Depending on the manufacturer, it takes anywhere from one to two weeks to get the materials in. As soon as the order is placed, we will know the exact date and will schedule your install date.

If we are doing multiple rooms, can the installation dates be spread out or is it done all in one day?
The installation dates can be spread out to different days. For example, we can do one area on a Monday and come back on a Wednesday to allow time for furniture moving. We are very flexible and more than happy to work with your schedule.

Do you carry remnants (flooring ready to be installed ASAP)?
Yes, we have a variety of remnants available to choose from.

What if I have a time sensitive project?
We will show you a variety of remnants that we have in stock and brands that are relatively available to get in within two to three business days to complete your project by your desired date.

Can we purchase materials only?
Absolutely. If you are a do-it-yourself type of person, you can buy whatever type of flooring material from us to install yourself.

If I remove and discard the existing carpet, should I leave the tack strips down?
Yes, please leave the tack strips down and if any need to be replaced we will replace those for you.

If I remove my existing flooring, will you haul away and discard it for me?
Yes, we will. We ask that you roll the carpet/vinyl up in a neat roll and leave any hard surface in an organized pile.

Do I need to be home during the time of the install?
No, you do not. You will need to let us know how we can get into the home or provide us with a key.

Do you guarantee your work?
Yes, we guarantee our installs. If you need something repaired or looked at just call and schedule an appointment.

Do you move furniture?
Yes, we do.

Do you offer financing?
Yes, we offer 12-month financing to qualified buyers.

How does payment for my new flooring work?
We ask for half of the total down and remaining due on completion of your project.

If I find a style and color of a particular product that I like, can I see it in a larger sample?
You sure can! It will take up to five business days to have the manufacturer ship a complimentary sample to your home.

What type of pad do you recommend?
We recommend the 1/2" 8lb pad; this is the pad included in our pricing. We include the thickest pad option in our pricing because we believe that as long as you have a nice, thick pad, you do not have to spend an arm and a leg purchasing an extremely thick carpet.

Can you install moisture barrier pad on a concrete floor?
The mill does not recommend this. The plastic lining on top of the pad does not allow moisture to go into the pad. In return, does not allow any moisture to go up from the concrete into the air. Therefore, trapping the moisture beneath the pad where mold and mildew can be made if the area is somewhat damp. For example, if you tape a piece of plastic to your concrete floor and leave it there for a few days, you will find condensation on the plastic. This is the same analogy that will take place with a moisture barrier pad on a concrete floor. If it is an above-ground concrete floor and you are 100% confident that there is no moisture, it might be alright to use it. Do you sell rugs?
No, we do not sell pre-made rugs, but we can have any carpet bounded and made into a rug.

Is there one style of carpet more expensive than the next?
No, pricing is based on how much yarn makes up the carpet.
